The luxury food retailer said more than 6m shoppers came through its doors or shopped online over the five weeks to December 24 – 30 per centhigher than the same period last year. The refurbishment of its Piccadilly store created a food and drinks studio, hosting cooking classes and wine tastings. A dazzling Christmas followed a strong year, with sales up 12 per cent to £208.6million over year to July 9.
