Omakase restaurant YOSHINO and Dom Perignon have teamed up for a hyper luxe experience, featuring a 19-course omakase menu paired with recent vintages of the Champagne. Chef Yoshida crafted a synergistic menu designed to blend the cultural influences at play and make use of the freshest ingredients available. "It marries France, New York, and Japan - France is Dom Pérignon, New York provides the seasonality, and Japan the seasonal fish,” said Chef Yoshida of his inspiration in creating a sushi menu designed to pair with bubbles. “Both Dom Pérignon and the signature Yoshino ingredients are an assemblage, so the pairing came naturally.” Carefully selected for each course is Dom Pérignon’s Vintage 2013, 2012, 2010, Plénitude 2 2004, and Rosé 2008. The special menu will run Thursday, June 15- Saturday, June 17 and seatings are $1000 per person, bookable via Tock . Some dietary restrictions can be accomodated. Typically, Yoshino’s dinners are 20 courses and cost $500, not including beverage, tax or gratuity. Seats for the 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm seatings tend to book up 30 days in advance, as soon as they are released. Yoshino is one of few restaurants to receive Four Stars from the New York Times and also received high acclaim from critic Pete Wells on 2022’s top 10 new restaurants in New York City.
